Tri Updates
Swim
I had my second swim lesson today. If a scale from 1 to 10 with 1 representing floating on my back and 10 representing swimming freestyle in proper form. I think I went from a 3 to a 7 today. We worked on drills that focused on my hip rotation from side to side, while maintaining balance with my body floating straight. Things are really coming together, and I’m starting to swim longer with less effort. I cannot believe I’m actually thinking about this this, but I think swimming is going to be the easiest part in the tri.
Gab I really wish I could share all the information I have learned so far, but some of those things are so hard to describe, it is just impossible to translate it in writing. We will have to hit the pool next time when I’m in Hong Kong.
Bike
I had been riding outside and I had my first flat tire for the season yesterday.
Run
I’m up to 3.5 miles now
Overall everything is going the way I planned (physically). And I am looking forward to all my events this coming season.
