Rochester had another beautiful weekend, and as usual I spent most of my time at the Mendon Pond Park doing hill training. There was a lot of huffing and puffing, but you know how people always say “If it doesn’t kill you it will only make you stronger” I’m really hoping these hill climb intervals will pays off in July.
Yesterday, I went to my buddy Tim’s place for a BBQ. I had my first charcoal grilled Zweigle hot dog in almost a year. Despite the fact that each hot dog has about 220 calories and 7 grams of saturated fat, but MAN!! It was indeed delicious.
New addition to the family
We have decided to adopt a second Siberian husky. Everyone please give a warm welcome to Sasha, she will be coming home on Wednesday.

I searched all over youtube, and I think this is the best example I can find. See how he never lift his head up and rotate his body from side to side, swimming almost at a 90 degree angle. Imagine yourself like a needle and try to swim through a small hole.
Today’s lesson was indeed interesting, because my instructor taped a few laps of my swim using an underwater camera. Watching the playback really helped me to get a visual on all the little things that I was doing wrong.
I have decided that I will take more lessons until I get my form iron down. I’m getting really close, but at the same time, until I can swim with maximum efficiency, it will be a waste of my time and effort to practice any distance/endurance swim.
