That seems to be the question of the week? Well I will be honest, it took me a few days to get use to the people and the company’s culture, but I think I’m starting to get a hang of it now. At first I was a bit nervous or unsure about the move, but now I’m starting to feel that I have made the right choice. I have a feeling this job will be keeping me pretty busy, but at the same time I know I will be learning a lot of useful knowledge.
133 days left Wild Bill: Hollywood Maverick divx
I cannot believe 232 days have gone by since I signed my life away to the Ironman Corporation last July. Everyone who enters this race knows what lies ahead, and that there is no way it can guarantee you can cross that finish line.
Look at the 07 Kona race for example, both male and female defending champion dropped out of the race half way through. 140.6 miles is an extremely long distance, and a lot of things can go wrong for everyone out in the field.
I met up with Paul last week to go over some training basics, and I must say I’m physically and mentally ready to rock and roll.
Here are few of my favorite quotes
“We practice today to avoid tomorrow’s failure†RIT Pool
“Pain is temporary, quitting lasts forever†Lance Armstrong
“We are here to complete, not compete, when you compete you measure yourself again others, but when you complete, you are trying to beat yourself.†Gregory Burns
One last thing, I’m going to do the best I can to keep a daily training log.
Not that it is anything exciting but in case you want to see my progress, the link is on the right hand side right underneath the about me section.
